3. Installation & Configuration
1 Mount the XMTC-62-11 module into a standard DIN rail (35mm) in a control panel with adequate ventilation (minimum 5cm clearance).
2 Connect power supply (100-240V AC or 24V DC) to the designated terminals, ensuring correct polarity and grounding.
3 Wire temperature sensors (thermocouple/RTD) and output devices (valves, heaters, pumps) to the labeled terminal blocks.
4 Power on the module and access the configuration menu via the front-panel HMI or GE CIMPLICITY software.
5 Configure input types, PID parameters (setpoint, proportional band, integral time, derivative time) and output scaling for each loop.
6 Save configuration, enable auto-tuning for each loop, and verify temperature regulation against setpoints.
Important Safety & Operation Notes
  • Disconnect all power sources before wiring or servicing the XMTC-62-11 module to prevent electrical shock.
  • Use shielded cables for thermocouple/RTD connections to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI).
  • Calibrate input channels annually using a certified temperature reference to maintain measurement accuracy.
  • Do not exceed the maximum voltage/current ratings of output terminals to avoid module damage.
  • Backup configuration settings to a USB drive or network location before firmware updates.
  • Ensure the control panel ambient temperature remains within 0°C to 60°C to prevent performance degradation.
