3. Installation Requirements
The PPD113 module must be installed in a standard ABB AC800PEC rack (type PM890) with proper grounding to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. Ensure the following during installation:
• Secure mechanical mounting with torque 2.5 Nm for fixing screws
• Minimum 50 mm clearance for ventilation around the module
• Isolation from high-voltage equipment (minimum 100 mm distance)
• Compliance with ABB installation manual (document ID: 3BSE080678)
4. Operational Notes
• The module requires firmware version 6.1 or higher for full functionality
• Regular firmware updates are recommended to address security patches and performance improvements
• Diagnostic data can be accessed via ABB Control Builder M or web-based HMI interface
• In case of fault, the module’s LED indicator (STATUS) will show red; refer to the troubleshooting guide (3BSE080679) for resolution
