3. Installation & Commissioning

  1. Mount the module on a 35mm DIN rail in a protected control cabinet, away from high-temperature hydraulic components.
  2. Connect the 24 VDC power supply to terminals L+ (positive) and M (negative), using a 2.5 mm² minimum wire gauge.
  3. Wire analog input signals to the IN1-IN10 terminals (shielded twisted-pair cable recommended).
  4. Connect proportional valves to the OUT1-OUT10 terminals (verify valve coil resistance before connection).
  5. Configure channel parameters (gain, offset, limit) via front-panel DIP switches or CANopen communication.
  6. Apply power and perform a functional test to verify signal transmission and valve response.
  7. Secure all wiring with strain reliefs and ensure proper cable routing to avoid electromagnetic interference.

Important Safety & Maintenance Notes

– Installation must be performed by qualified personnel trained in hydraulic control systems.

– Disconnect all power sources and relieve hydraulic pressure before servicing the module.

– Do not exceed the maximum output current rating to prevent coil or module damage.

– Perform semi-annual inspection of electrical connections and functional testing.

– Keep the module free of hydraulic fluid contamination; use corrosion-resistant connectors in harsh environments.
